For many years, Fr. Ron Roberson distributed a monthly newsletter from the Secretariat for Ecumenical Affairs with stories about the Eastern Churches from around the world. Because many found the information useful, our office is going to restart that as a monthly ebulletin titled “SEIA-NOTE” – News Of The East. We intend to simply highlight 4-5 news items in each of five groups:
- The Ecumenical Dialogue
- Ecumenism in the Holy Land
- The Eastern Orthodox Churches
- The Oriental Orthodox Churches
- The Eastern Catholic Churches
The design will be to give only 100 words or less from a story with a link for you to Read more … if you are interested. The content may not be comprehensive but is intended to identify some news you may not otherwise hear about. With this, we hope to provide a useful summary of interesting items.
