The North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation

The North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation was established in 1965 and is sponsored jointly by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB), the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) and the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of America (SCOBA). The current chairmen are Metropolitan Maximos of Pittsburgh (SCOBA) and Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk of Cincinnati (USCCB). The SEIA Staff lead is Rev. Ronald G. Roberson, CSP. The Consultation currently meets twice each year.

The Joint Committee of Orthodox and Catholic Bishops

The Joint Committee of Orthodox and Catholic Bishops was established in 1981 by the bishops of the United States and Canada. The current co-chairmen are Bishop Seraphim of Ottawa and Canada (Orthodox) and Archbishop Oscar H. Lipscome of Mobile (Catholic). The SEIA Staff lead is Rev. Ronald G. Roberson, CSP. The Consultation currently meets once each year.
